Welcome to the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin web site. Here you will find information about the Alaskan Malamute including health issues, as well as information about our activities, rescue program, and upcoming events.

The Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin, Inc. was started in 1969 by a group of people interested in the promotion of the true image of the Alaskan Malamute. It is felt that the breed can be promoted and advanced through sharing of knowledge between club members.

Congratulations to Anna and Don Grob and U-RO1 Sno Quest's Klondike Gold Rush RN CGC TDI (Klondike). Klondike received his UKC Rally Obedience 1 title with a second place and has one leg toward his AKC Rally Advanced title.

Congratulations to Anna and Don Grob and Sno Quest's Klondike Gold Rush RN CGC TDI (Klondike). Klondike received his Therapy Dog International title with flying colors. He is a big hit at the nursing homes. He also received his Rally Novice Title with a first and third placement. He is now on his way to the Rally Advance ring. Way to go big guy.

Congratulations to Jen Effler-Leveille and Powderhound's Blaze of Glory WWPDX RN CGC (Lucy). Lucy completed her last two legs for her working weight pull excellent (WWPDX) title at the Fennville, MI weight pulls!

Congratulations to Jen Effler-Leveille and U-AG1 Powderhound's The Ike-Man Cometh WWPDX WTD WPD (Ikey). Ikey completed his UKC AG1 title at the Bark River KC agility trial with three first placements!

Congratulations to Carol Simon and Powderhound's The Leading Lady (Gracie). At Gracie's first AKC show, she took Best of Breed - Puppy from the 6-9 month puppy class (Starved Rock KC, 12/11/09, Wheaton, IL). Gracie is co-owned by Carol Simon & Jen Effler-Leveille.

Congratulations to Jen Effler-Leveille and Powderhound's Blaze of Glory WWPD RN CGC (Lucy). Lucy came back from the 2009 AMCA National with TWO new titles: her Working Weight Pull Dog and her Rally Novice. She was first place at the Regional and National Rally Trials.

Congratulations to Dustin Warner and Powderhound's Woo The Masses WWPDX NAJ (Layla). Layla completed TWO titles at the 2009 AMCA National Specialty: her Novice Jumpers Title and her Working Weight Pull Dog Excellent title.

Congratulations to Carol Simon and Powderhound's A Force Of Won WWPDX WPD CGC (Buster). Buster completed his Working Weight Pull Dog Excellent title at the Fennville, MI pull in November

Congratulations to Jen Effler-Leveille and Storm Kloud's As Good As It Gets WWPDX ROMWDX WTD WPD WLD (Bella). With Layla completing her WWPDX title, Bella earns AMCA's Register of Merit Working Dog Excellent.

Congratulations to Anna and Don Grob and Sno Quest's Klondike Gold Rush CGC (Klondike). Our new dog Klondike received his Canine Good Citizen Title Oct.3rd. He has come a long way in the short 3 months that we had him. This boy has alot of talent and will make a great obedience and agility dog. He's a real sweetheart.

Congratulations to Rachel Banks and Powderhound's On the Other Hand NAJ NA WWPD WWPDX CGC (Travis). Travis finished his Novice standard and Novice Jumpers titles at Fond du Lac Kennel club on 7/12. He had perfect scores for each run.

Congratulations to Lisa Ryer and Ch. Sno Ridge's Sudden Impact (Stetson). Lisa and Stetson went to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York. Stetson, handled by Tammy Szabo, won an Award of Merit, one of only 2 given for the Malamutes.
